Every good book, album, movie, or other piece of art has already been written, recorded, or produced? And that subsequently, nothing new will ever really matter in the same way? For example, I'm eagerly anticipating The Dark Knight Rises. But I know it's not going to be some profound revelation that cracks everyone's top 5 movies of all time lists. I guess my point is, I just wish everyone, especially the younger generations out there, spent more time picking through the old classics and discovering the truly great works instead of worrying so much if the Next Big Thing will live up to everyone's expectations.
